Tangail June 9,(V7N)- Amidst efforts to streamline land services and alleviate frustrations among citizens, Tangail District Administrator Md. Mokhlesar Rahman inaugurated the 'Land Service Week' in Tangail. 
 
Addressing the media, Rahman highlighted the government's dedication and grassroots initiatives aimed at reducing the challenges faced by land service seekers. The week-long event, guided by the principle of 'Smart Land Service, Smart Citizens,' kicked off with symbolic gestures and aims to foster efficient land services and citizen engagement.
 
The inauguration ceremony, held at the Upazila Land Office courtyard, featured symbolic gestures like releasing balloons to mark the beginning of the week-long initiative aimed at promoting efficient land services and citizen engagement. Following the inauguration, a rally was organized, followed by a discussion meeting, underscoring the importance of the 'Smart Land Service, Smart Citizens' principle.
 
Alongside District Administrator Md. Mokhlesar Rahman, other officials including Additional District Administrator (General) Ziaul Islam Chowdhury, Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Hasan-bin-Muhammad Ali, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mohd. Ruhul Amin Sharif, and Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Mohd. Al-Amin Kabir were present, demonstrating unified support for the initiative.
 
Attendees included land office officials, employees, and service seekers, reflecting broad participation and interest in improving land services. The Land Week activities are scheduled to continue from June 8 to June 14, 2024, underscoring ongoing efforts to enhance efficiency and transparency in land administration.
