Gazipur, June 26 (V7N) – The results of the first-year undergraduate (honours) admission test for the 2024–2025 academic year under the National University have been published.
Vice Chancellor Dr. ASM Amanullah formally announced the results at a press conference held at the university’s ICT building on Thursday (June 26) afternoon.
A total of 560,595 students took part in this year’s admission test, which was held on May 31. Among them, 460,706 candidates have passed.
The Vice Chancellor said that 33.28% of the successful candidates scored above 50 marks, while 66.72% scored below 50.
The National University currently has 440,000 available seats for honours programs. Students who are not selected for honours courses may still seek admission to pass courses, technical education, or other branches under the university.
This year’s admission process marks a return to the admission test system, which had been discontinued since the 2015–16 academic year. From that year, student admissions were conducted based on GPA in SSC and HSC exams. After eight years, the university has reverted to the examination-based admission process.
