Jhalokathi, July 11 (V7N) – NS Kamil Madrasa, under the Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board, has achieved an outstanding result in the 2025 Dakhil examination, becoming the top-performing institution in the country. Among 427 examinees, 227 students secured the highest GPA-5, with only one student failing. The pass rate stands at an impressive 99.77%, and the GPA-5 achievers account for nearly 54% of the total examinees.

Acting principal Maulana Gazi Shahidul Islam said, “Founded by renowned Islamic scholar Hazrat Azizur Rahman Qayed, this institution has consistently ranked at the top in results. This year, we have again secured the national top position, which is a testament to the students’ hard work and the teachers’ relentless efforts.”

For comparison, Darunnajat Alia Madrasa in Dhaka recorded a pass rate of 96%, while Tamirul Millat Kamil Madrasa achieved 97%, both falling slightly behind NS Kamil Madrasa’s overall performance.

Reviewing other local institutions, Jhalokathi Government Horachandra Girls’ High School saw 212 out of 222 students pass, with 54 attaining GPA-5. The Government High School had 212 passes from 215 students, with 58 scoring GPA-5. Ismailia Senior Fazil Madrasa reported 32 passes out of 38, with 2 GPA-5 holders, and Kutubnogor Alim Madrasa had 34 passes from 38 examinees, with 2 earning GPA-5.

In contrast, Uddan Middle School’s performance was disappointing, with only 81 out of 124 students passing and none achieving GPA-5.

Mohammad Abdul Jabbar, Acting Officer of the District Education Office, stated, “We have not yet received the complete district results, but based on preliminary analysis, I am not fully satisfied. I visited a school today, and we are coordinating with all stakeholders to improve the quality of education.”

This remarkable achievement by NS Kamil Madrasa highlights its role in promoting academic excellence and underscores the need for continued efforts to raise educational standards across the district.
