Dhaka, Oct 16 (V7N) – The Bangladesh Education Boards are set to release the results of the 2025 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations on Thursday at 10:00 AM. This year, a total of 1,251,111 students appeared for the exams under 11 general education boards, along with the Madrasa and Technical Education Boards. Of these, 618,015 were male students and 633,096 were female, while nearly 27,000 students were absent.
According to an official notice, educational institutions can download results using their EIIN numbers from the Results Corner on the official website: www.educationboardresults.gov.bd. Students can also access results via the same website, through their respective board websites, or by sending an SMS to 16222. Results will not be provided directly by education boards, the Ministry of Education, or newspapers.
Applications for re-scrutiny of results can be submitted online from October 17 to October 23 via https://rescrutinu.eduboardresult.gov.bd. Detailed instructions for the re-scrutiny process will be available on official board websites and through national newspapers.
The 2025 HSC examinations began on June 26 and concluded on August 19, with some postponed exams held in the following days. According to regulations, results must be published within 60 days of the written examinations’ completion.
Participation by board this year was as follows: Dhaka – 291,241; Rajshahi – 133,242; Comilla – 101,750; Jessore – 116,317; Chattogram – 135; Barishal – 61,025; Sylhet – 69,683; Dinajpur – 103,832; Mymensingh – 78,273. The Madrasa Education Board (Alim) had 86,102 examinees, and the Technical Education Board had 109,611 examinees.
Results will be released simultaneously today for all boards across the country, providing students and their families with the awaited academic outcomes of the 2025 examinations.
