An annual Islamic Essay Competition, discussion meeting, and distribution of prizes to winners and Iftar mahfil was held under the initiative of Hnila Gulfraz Hashem Foundation, one of the voluntary, social service and charity organizations of Teknaf Upazila of Cox's Bazar district.

On March 22. on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, Guhafa Islamic Research Center organized Essay Competition-2024 on “The Life Philosophy and Rule of Four Caliphs of Islam” among school, madrasa and college students from classes IX-XII at Hnila High School Center.

After checking the results Unaisha Noor of Alim 2nd year of Hnila Shah Majidiya Islamia Alim Madrasa (1st), Tanzina Akter of class 10 of Hnila High School (2nd) and Sumaiya Noor Sadek of class 11 of Hnila Moinuddin Memorial College (3rd) secured the position.

Besides Asor, a discussion session on the significance of Ramadan and, the distribution of prizes to the winners and Iftar Mahfil was held at the Hnila Gulfraz-Hashem Foundation Auditorium under the chairmanship of former member Saleh Ahmed, Vice President of Guhafa Management Committee.

Mahbub Morshed, general secretary of Teknaf Upazila Awami League and president of Hnila High School management committee, was present as the chief guest under the supervision of executive member Ehsan Uddin.

Special guests were Abdus Salam, Headmaster of Hnila High School, Chakria Badarkhali Fazil Madrasa Vice-Principal Syed Ahmed Tarek, Md. Rafiqul Islam, Ward No. 3 member of Hnila UP. Kaiser Uddin Ahmed, Vice President of the Foundation Management Committee gave the welcome speech.

Prizes were distributed among the winners of the essay competition on “Life philosophy and rule of the four caliphs of Islam”. In the end, the Imam of Guhafa Jame Masjid Maulana Zaker Hosain discussed in detail the significance of Ramadan and what should be done by the Muslim Ummah.

Work on filling playground of Hnila Alfalah Academy has started

 At the end, after a special prayer by the founding president of the foundation, Dr. Jamal Ahmed, wishing for the well-being of the country and the nation and the peace of the Muslim Ummah, all the fasting people present met for Iftar.
