Dhaka, Nov 23 (V7N) – A clash broke out between Bangladesh Chhatra Dal and Chhatra Shibir at the government-run Titumir College in Dhaka late Saturday night over the hanging of a banner welcoming new students. The incident occurred around midnight, leaving several students injured. The wounded were taken to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital for treatment.

Bonani Police Station Officer-in-Charge Russell Sarwar told reporters that the confrontation began when the two student groups disagreed over the placement of the banner. Police arrived at the scene shortly after receiving the report and managed to bring the situation under control.

By 1:00 a.m., the officer confirmed that the situation had calmed down and that no further disturbances were reported. Authorities are monitoring the area to prevent any recurrence.
