After receiving a death threat, miscreants opened fire outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's residence, 'Galaxy Apartment,' in Mumbai's Bandra early Sunday morning. According to reports from Hindustan Times, an unidentified individual on a motorcycle fired several rounds outside the actor's home at around 5 am.

The incident occurred when two individuals arrived on a motorcycle and discharged several rounds of empty bullets before fleeing the scene. Fortunately, Salman Khan was at home during the attack, and Mumbai police swiftly responded to the incident. However, the incident has left Salman's family, fans, and Bollywood neighbors concerned about his safety.

The shooting incident in the VIP area has raised questions about the overall security system in Mumbai. Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde expressed his concern on social media, urging the Mumbai Police to take prompt action. He called for the swift arrest of the attackers and their masterminds, questioning the state of safety in Mumbai.

Many speculate that the notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's group may be behind the shooting. Salman Khan has been receiving multiple threats since last year, with Bishnoi's gang allegedly vowing to harm the actor due to his involvement in the killing of a blackbuck deer in 1998. The blackbuck holds religious significance in the Bishnoi community, leading to threats against Salman's life.

Following the threats, Salman's security has been heightened, but the police are investigating whether Lawrence Bishnoi's gang orchestrated the shooting incident. The incident underscores the ongoing security challenges faced by celebrities and VIPs in Mumbai.
