Dhaka, Mar 26 (V7N) -On the occasion of Great Independence Day and National Day, President Mohammed Sahabuddin and Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus paid tribute to the nation's valiant heroes at the National Memorial.
On Wednesday, the President paid his respects at 5:50am, followed by the Chief Adviser at 6:00am at the National Memorial in Savar.
After laying floral wreaths, they stood in silence for a while to honor the memory of the brave martyrs.
During this time, a smart Bangladesh Army, Navy, and Air Force contingent presented a state salute.
Later, the President and the Chief Adviser signed the visitors' book at the memorial premises.
