The BNP was advised on Friday to focus on getting ready for the next general election rather than considering their next step by Obaidul Quader, the minister of road transport and bridges and general secretary of the Bangladesh Awami League (AL).

He made this suggestion at a combined party meeting that was conducted on Friday morning at the capital's Awami League central office.

About the BNP's march to triumph, Quader said that since his release from prison, Mirza Fakhrul had developed an overwhelming amount of daydreams.

The AL leader said at the time, "BNP should acknowledge that issue-based movement in the nation cannot be found as long as the people's administration is in power."

"Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Bangabandhu, has brought great honor to the country by participating in the Security Conference in Germany," stated Quader in his opening remarks at the joint gathering. The democratic world of today has acknowledged Bangladesh's significance without reservation.

"Many of our adversaries thrive on Bangladesh's geopolitical location. A lot of falcons are keeping an eye on St. Martin and the Bay of Bengal. But Sheikh Hasina's administration has made balanced diplomacy successful ", he said.

At this point, Quader stated that the divisional in charge had received instructions from the party president to settle internal conflicts inside the party, including the creation of the disbanded committee.
