Cox’s Bazar, Feb 02 (V7N) — Ahead of the upcoming national elections, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman will take part in five election rallies across Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar today.
According to the schedule, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman will first address a public meeting in Maheshkhali at 9:00 am on Monday. He will then attend an 11-party alliance public meeting at the Bir Muktijoddha Ground in Baharchhara, Cox’s Bazar city, at 10:00 am.
After that, the Jamaat Ameer will join a rally in Padua, Lohagara at 11:00 am. In the afternoon, he will speak as the chief guest at a public meeting in Sitakunda at 2:00 pm. His final program of the day will be a rally at the Bandar School and College Ground in Chattogram city at 5:00 pm.
Party sources said that stage construction, administrative coordination, and overall preparations to ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of the rallies have already been completed.
It is learned that during these rallies, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman will outline Jamaat-e-Islami’s vision for building a country free from extortion and corruption and establishing a just and equitable society.
