Rangpur, Feb 11 (V7N) — Voting equipment is being delivered to polling centers in Rangpur ahead of the 13th National Parliament Election scheduled for tomorrow.

From 10:00 am on Wednesday, presiding officers began receiving 24 types of election materials, including parliamentary and referendum ballots, transparent ballot boxes, indelible ink, and seals, from designated locations.

After collecting the materials, presiding officers are leaving for their respective centers with the assistance of police and Ansar personnel.

Rangpur Divisional Commissioner Shahidul Islam said that the distribution process is underway for 27,183 polling booths in 4,750 centers across 33 constituencies of the division. He added that all activities are expected to be completed by the afternoon and that preparations have been made to ensure voting in a fair and festive atmosphere without any hassle.

The 13th National Parliament Election will be held nationwide on Thursday (February 12).
