Dhaka, Dec 03 (V7N) – The protest began around 3:45pm in front of the National Museum at Shahbagh.

Speakers at the rally alleged that the Indian government is conspiring against Bangladesh's sovereignty, unable to tolerate the country's stability.

They claimed the attack on the Assistant High Commission in Agartala was a continuation of such conspiracies.

They also accused most Indian media outlets of spreading misinformation about Bangladesh and demanded justice for every border killing and the annulment of unequal agreements between the two countries.

During the rally, slogans like “Delhi or Dhaka? Dhaka, Dhaka”, “Servitude or Freedom? Freedom, Freedom”, "We gave blood, we will give more blood", and “Agents of India, beware”, echoed through the gathering.

A central member of the Jatiya Nagorik Committee, Anik Roy, said: “The Awami League has always been a pawn of Delhi in this country. India has constantly tried to maintain its dominance. However, we have no enmity with the people of India—our opposition lies with Delhi’s rule. In this new Bangladesh, Delhi's dominance will not be allowed to expand. All unequal agreements with Delhi must be revealed to the public and annulled.”

Another central committee member, Olik Mridha, said: “India can only be a friendly state when it stops interfering in Bangladesh's internal affairs. For the past 15 years, the Awami government has leased the country to India. We want to clearly tell Modi that the Awami regime in Bangladesh is over, and they will not be allowed to return.”

Before the protest began, various local committees from Dhaka marched to join the rally in front of the National Museum, along with members from committees outside Dhaka.
