LONDON, June 11, (V7N) – Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus is set to deliver a special speech at Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, today, as part of his ongoing public diplomacy efforts.

Professor Yunus is scheduled to address the Main Hall of Chatham House between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM London time. According to the Chief Adviser's program schedule, the session will be recorded, live-streamed, and partially open to media. Following his address, the Bangladesh Chief Adviser will attend a reception hosted by Chatham House in his honor.

In the evening, Professor Yunus will participate in a dinner hosted by His Majesty King Charles III at St. James's Palace in London. The dinner is being held to commemorate the 35th Anniversary of The King's Foundation.

Professor Yunus is currently in London on a four-day official visit aimed at enhancing bilateral relations between Bangladesh and the United Kingdom.

This visit is further highlighted by Professor Yunus's nomination by King Charles III for the 'King Charles III Harmony Award 2025'. This significant recognition acknowledges his lifelong commitment to promoting peace, sustainability, and harmony among people and with the environment. The award will be formally conferred at a ceremony, also at St. James's Palace in London, on June 12. The King's Foundation, a UK-based charity founded in 1990 by the then Prince of Wales, annually bestows this prestigious award upon individuals demonstrating exemplary achievements in sustainable development and humanitarian causes. The Chief Adviser is expected to conclude his visit and return to Bangladesh on June 14.
