Dhaka, Feb 11 (V7N) — The interim government has launched the mobile app ‘Shubechcha’ and the central online ticketing platform ‘Druto Ticket’ to strengthen expatriate engagement in exploring opportunities, accessing citizen services, and creating sustainable social and economic impact in the country, as well as to enhance mutual networking.
The Chief Advisor was briefed about the activities of the two platforms at the State Guest House Jamuna on Tuesday evening.
Special Assistant to the Chief Advisor on Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Faiz Ahmed Tayyab, Secretary of the Information and Communication Technology Department Sheesh Haider Chowdhury, and other senior officials concerned presented the details of the two digital services to Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus.
Through the ‘Shubechcha’ app, expatriate Bangladeshis will be able to access more than 100 citizen services easily. Meanwhile, ‘Druto Ticket’ has been introduced to prevent irregularities and ensure transparency in bus, rail, and air ticketing during festivals and other peak travel periods.
The Chief Advisor thanked the officials concerned for the successful launch of the two platforms.
“Our goal was to ensure that all government services reach citizens without any hassle. Today marks the beginning of the journey of these two platforms. This is just the start. They need to be expanded further and reach more people. I hope the next elected government will continue to take these initiatives forward,” he said.
