Dhaka, Feb 25 (V7N)- Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon has warned that no educational institution can charge admission fees every year. He said the Ministry of Education will take immediate action if any institution is found violating this court order or acting against regulations.

The minister made the remarks after announcing the scholarship results at the Secretariat on Wednesday afternoon.

He also said that a committee is being formed to review seven colleges where the interim government may have rushed into decisions regarding admissions. "We have not examined the documents yet; discussions have just begun," he added.

Regarding MPO (Monthly Pay Order) enrollment, the minister stated that the interim government hastily scrutinized matters and did not take any final decision.

In addition, Education Minister Milon announced that the 5th grade scholarship exam, which was suspended last year, will now be conducted by April 2026.

These steps are part of the government’s efforts to ensure transparency in education and prevent undue financial burdens on students and guardians.
