DHAKA, April 14 (V7N) – A 22-member business delegation from the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) will depart for Guangzhou, China, tomorrow to strengthen bilateral economic ties and explore new avenues of trade and investment cooperation.
Led by Senior Vice President Razeev H Chowdhury, the delegation includes exporters and importers from diverse sectors such as food manufacturing, ceramics, IT, automotive, industrial oil and grease, shipping and logistics, electrical and electronics, pharmaceuticals, renewable energy, defense equipment, and ready-made garments.
During the visit, the team will participate in business forums and B2B networking sessions with major Chinese trade promotion organizations and chambers, including CCPIT Guangzhou, CCPIT Guangzhou Nansha, Guangzhou Nansha Association of Trade in Services, Guangdong Chamber of Commerce of Importers & Exporters, CCCME, and Guangzhou Overseas Enterprises Chamber of Commerce.
The programme also features participation in China’s premier international trade exhibition, the Canton Fair, where Bangladeshi entrepreneurs will engage in buyer-seller matchmaking and on-site business exploration. The delegation will also attend the Guangzhou Sourcing Fair.
Through these initiatives, DCCI reaffirmed its commitment to promoting international trade, fostering private sector collaboration, and supporting Bangladeshi enterprises in integrating more effectively into global supply chains.
