In celebration of Armed Forces Day, a warship of the Bangladesh Navy has been opened for the public in Mongla. The warship, BNS Kopotakh, was made accessible to visitors at the Digraj Naval Base from Thursday afternoon until the evening. A large number of people of all ages gathered to visit the ship. During their visit, they had the opportunity to tour the entire vessel. Additionally, the ship's authorities provided detailed information about various sections of the warship, its usage, and the types of ammunition used.
Commander Ryan, the captain of the ship, explained that the purpose of opening the warship to the public was to inspire the new generation to join the Navy. He emphasized that the Navy is a vital part of the nation’s defense and sovereignty, and he hopes this initiative will motivate young people to consider a career in the armed forces and contribute to the nation's security.
