Barguna, Dec 25, (V7N) - In Barguna, a newborn baby boy, abandoned and crying without his parents, was found in a garbage heap. The infant was discovered in a deserted state near the Chalavanga Dakhil Madrasa Road in Bamnashah Upazila. After being rescued, the baby is receiving treatment at a local private hospital.

The baby was found on Tuesday morning (December 24) at around 7 a.m. by a local man named Mamun. He shared that he heard the sound of a baby crying near the roadside, surrounded by trash. Mamun immediately rescued the newborn and took him to the Doyatala Saudi Expatriate Hospital for treatment.

Dr. Md. Mahdi, the resident medical officer at Bamnashah Upazila Health Complex, said, "The newborn is currently in stable condition.The baby is still being treated at the Saudi Expatriate Hospital. His hands and feet were cold, so they are using a heater to warm him up."

Md. Mahmul Hasib, the upazila social services officer, stated, "A newborn baby was found abandoned on the side of the road near Chalavanga Dakhil Madrasa. The baby is currently receiving treatment at Doyatala Saudi Expatriate Hospital. Doctors have confirmed that the baby is now stable. Once the baby is fully recovered, the local administration will take further action."
