Khagrachari, Dec 25, (V7N) - Christmas, the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ, was celebrated with joy and religious fervor across Khagrachari district, just like the rest of the country.
 
On Wednesday morning (December 25), various religious programs were organized at Khagrapur Baptist Church in the district. A special prayer service, candle lighting ceremony, and worship were held on the eve of Christmas, December 24.
 
At 10 AM today, religious services began at churches throughout Khagrachari. After the prayers, a Christmas cake cutting ceremony took place. The celebrations also included distributing chocolates to children, sharing joy, and providing warm clothes to those in need. The festivities concluded with a prayer for peace in the country and the world.
 
James Tripura from Chellachara Para in Khagrachari shared that for several days leading up to Christmas, various sports events had been organized at the church. The main ceremony started with a collective prayer on Wednesday.
 
Abdul Baten, Officer-in-Charge (O.C.) of Khagrachari Sadar Police Station, informed Voice7 News that the district police had implemented a three-layer security system to ensure a safe and smooth celebration of Christmas.
 
This year's Christmas celebration in Khagrachari was marked by harmony, joy, and community spirit, as people of all ages came together to share in the occasion.
