Tangail, Mar 4 (V7N) – Bati Ghar Adarsha Pathagar in Tangail Sadar hosted a 'Liberation War Book Reading' session on Monday at 11 AM as part of the Ali Zaker Liberation War Book Reading initiative. During the event, registered students from Government Sa'adat College, Lion Nazrul Islam Degree College, Chowdhury Malancha High School, and Mogra High School were handed books for the reading competition by the founder of Bati Ghar Adarsha Pathagar, Mohammad Kamruzzaman.
The event was attended by library staff, including librarian Mohammad Helal Sharif, organizational secretary Monsur Helal, and executive members Habibur Rahman and Mohammad Raju Mia.
In memory of late Ali Zaker, founder trustee of the Liberation War Museum and prominent cultural figure, books were provided to university students (Anwar Pasha's 'Rifle Roti Aurat'), college students (Jhurna Basu and Mofizul Haq's edited 'Oboruddho Oshru’r Din: Paribarik Smritibhashya 1971'), and school students (Rashid Haider's edited 'Khujhe Firi') as part of the initiative to spread the history of the Liberation War among the new generation.
Since its establishment in 2010 with the slogan "Let’s read books, enlighten ourselves," Bati Ghar Adarsha Pathagar has been promoting reading habits and contributing to social welfare activities in the Tangail district.
