Mongla, Dec 25 (V7N) – Local leaders of the National Citizens Party (NCP) submitted the nomination papers of Molla Rahmatullah for the Bagerhat-03 (Mongla-Rampal) parliamentary seat on Wednesday. The papers were collected at 1:00 pm from Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Assistant Returning Officer Sharmin Akter Sumi.
The delegation included NCP leaders Md Al-Amin, Md Abu Hasan, Majedul Islam Mridha, Majedur Rahman Jewel, and Molla Moazzem Hossain.
After submitting his nomination, Molla Rahmatullah addressed party workers and supporters, saying, “My party has nominated me to represent Mongla-Rampal. My electoral manifesto focuses on restoring the history and heritage of Mongla. I also urge voters to support the July certificate and referendum by voting ‘yes’ and to help build a visionary Bangladesh by casting votes for the NCP’s Shapla Kali symbol.”
He further emphasized the importance of countering election-related rumors, adding, “Various false rumors are circulating ahead of the election. The police and journalists can play a crucial role in preventing misinformation. Only then can we realize the dream of building a prosperous Bangladesh.”
The nomination submission marks the official start of Molla Rahmatullah’s campaign for the upcoming national election, reflecting the party’s commitment to active political engagement in the Mongla-Rampal constituency.
