Dhaka, Dec 18 (V7N) – Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of the Inqilab Manch, who died while undergoing treatment in Singapore after being shot earlier this month.
In a press release issued on Thursday, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman described Hadi as a courageous activist and a patriot.
“Sharif Osman Hadi was a brave July fighter and a true patriot. He never bowed to injustice. His voice was always raised against all forms of hegemony and oppression. He was an uncompromising fighter, untouched by greed or worldly temptation,” the Jamaat Amir said.
He further stated that Hadi had envisioned a humane and just Bangladesh and played an important role in movements advocating justice, truth, and fairness.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman also prayed for the departed soul and expressed condolences to Hadi’s family.
“I pray to Almighty Allah for the forgiveness of his soul and extend my deepest sympathies to his wife, children, family members, colleagues, and well-wishers. May Allah grant them patience and strength to endure this great loss,” he said.
