The much-anticipated Bollywood film "Crew," featuring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon, has taken Bangladesh by storm since its release on March 29. The film marks a significant milestone as it becomes the first Hindi movie to be imported and released in the country through the SAFTA agreement (South Asian Regional Free Trade Agreement), facilitated by Star Cineplex.

Mesbahuddin Ahmed, senior marketing officer at Star Cineplex, shared that "Crew" has garnered immense interest from Bangladeshi audiences since its announcement. The film's release under the SAFTA agreement on April 1 has already sparked excitement, with numerous inquiries and bookings pouring in. However, screenings during Eid festivities will adhere to regulations, temporarily halting the shows in observance of the festival.

Despite initial skepticism surrounding women-centric films' commercial success, "Crew" has defied expectations, swiftly gaining traction at the box office. The film raked in over 10 crore rupees in India on its opening day and continued its strong performance with a collection of 9 crores on the following day, showcasing its potential for greater success.

Critics and audiences alike have showered "Crew" with praise since its release, lauding its engaging storyline and stellar performances. Box office analyst and movie critic Sumit Kadel noted that the film's opening day collection ranks among the year's top three, hinting at its promising trajectory in the days to come.

Directed by Rajesh Krishnan and produced by Ekta Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, and Bigvijoy Purohit, "Crew" follows the misadventures of three air hostesses, portrayed by Kareena, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon.
