Mumbai, 17 July - Popular Indian model-actress Hina Khan has been diagnosed with breast cancer and has already commenced chemotherapy. Despite her diagnosis, Khan has returned to shooting, courageously hiding the marks on her body from the treatment.

On Monday, July 15, Hina Khan shared a video on Instagram showcasing a wound on the right side of her neck, which a makeup artist was covering with the collar of her shirt. In the video, she said, "My first shoot after taking the first chemotherapy. Nervous, trying to hide the stitches as much as possible. Everyone is trying their best. I put on a wig. I am ready for my shoot. The show will go on. We will fight. We will continue shooting. We will be victorious."

Rumors about her cancer diagnosis had been circulating on social media since the end of last month. However, Khan confirmed the rumors were true in an Instagram post on June 28. She is currently undergoing treatment in India.

In preparation for chemotherapy, Hina also cut her hair, sharing a video of the process online. Her courage and determination have been widely applauded by netizens.

Hina Khan gained widespread recognition through the television series "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" and has since worked in several web series and music videos.
