DHAKA, March 28 (V7N) - In response to the instability of fuel oil in the global market, the Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) has decided to reduce fuel consumption by 50 percent.
This decision will apply to all officials, including the Chairman and Managing Director (MD), according to a press release issued today.
To implement the measure, PKSF has taken several steps to prioritize energy efficiency and reduce reliance on office vehicles. Officials at all levels will use public transport instead of office cars for official work both in Dhaka and outside the capital.
Additionally, instructions have been given to limit the use of air conditioners in office buildings and to exercise restraint in electricity consumption.
The initiative reflects PKSF’s commitment to coping with the global energy crisis by adopting sustainable practices and ensuring efficient use of resources.
