TANGAIL, July 10, 2026 (V7N) – State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Sultan Salauddin Tuku has said the Prime Minister has spoken on multiple occasions regarding the implementation of the July Charter and has made his stance clear.
"BNP, as a signatory to the July Charter, will implement the charter point by point," he said while responding to questions from journalists after inaugurating a complaint centre for passenger services at the Tangail New Bus Stand this afternoon.
Tuku said: "Many people will say many things for political reasons, but there is no need to give importance to every political statement. Our position is the same as it was in the beginning, and it will remain the same in the future."
Earlier, the State Minister inaugurated the complaint centre set up by the Bus-Minibus Owners' Association to improve passenger services. "This complaint centre has been established to ensure quality service for passengers. Any passenger facing harassment or suffering can file a complaint.
