A confrontation between the Arakan Army, an armed rebel organization in Myanmar's neighboring Rakhine state, and the Myanmar military has forced 58 personnel of the Border Guard Police (BGP) to seek safety along the Bangladeshi border.
Eighty-five members of the BGP, also known as Nasaka, have sought refuge along the border, according to BGB Headquarters' public relations officer Shariful Islam.
