CHARLEVOIX, Canada, March 14,(V7N) – Group of Seven (G7) foreign ministers have expressed unified support for a US-led ceasefire initiative between Ukraine and Russia, despite tensions with US President Donald Trump, host Canada announced on Friday.

Canadian Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly highlighted the consensus reached during discussions in Quebec, emphasizing that Ukraine was a key focus of the talks. She confirmed that, despite differences, G7 nations stood together on pressing for a ceasefire to help end the ongoing conflict.
