New Delhi, July 24 (V7N) — The Cakroch Janata Party (CJP) has announced nationwide peaceful protest programmes across India on Friday (July 24), protesting what it described as police mistreatment of demonstrators during recent movements.
 
In a poster shared on social media, the organisation called on students, student groups, and civil society representatives across the country to participate in the programme under the slogan “One Day, One Demand in Every District.” The announcement was reported by Hindustan Times.
 
CJP said peaceful rallies would be organised in every district to express solidarity with students who were affected by recent police actions. Participants have been asked to gather at designated locations and publicly read out the students’ demands.
 
To coordinate the programme, the organisation has released a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), campaign materials, and a draft memorandum to be submitted to district administrations.
 
Local organisers have been instructed to coordinate with student organisations and other social groups, obtain necessary administrative permissions, and ensure that the demonstrations remain peaceful.
 
According to CJP guidelines, participants will submit memorandums outlining students’ demands to the relevant district authorities after the rallies.
 
The organisation is currently leading a protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi over alleged irregularities, including a question paper leak in the NEET-UG 2026 examination, and calling for reforms in the education system.
 
Despite the ongoing protest, the central government has expressed willingness to resume discussions with CJP. According to sources, the government may hold a meeting with floor leaders of political parties in Parliament regarding the NEET-UG 2026 issue.
 
The government has informed opposition parties that it is ready to discuss the matter in Parliament without accepting any preconditions, including demands for resignation.
 
On Thursday (July 23), Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda reiterated that the government was prepared to hold talks with CJP.
 
He said representatives of the organisation could meet him at his official residence or office if they wished to discuss the issue.
