Sports, Dec 18, ( V7N) - After losing the toss, Bangladesh faced early setbacks while batting in their match against the West Indies. Captain Litton Das once again failed to deliver, as the team lost two wickets early in their innings. Rain then interrupted play for a brief period. Upon resumption, Bangladesh lost another wicket, with Tanzid Hasan bowled by Roston Chase’s spin. Tanzid managed only 2 runs off 4 balls.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz came in at number four to join Soumya Sarkar at the crease. By the end of 5 overs, Bangladesh had scored 23 runs for the loss of 2 wickets. Soumya and Miraz are currently trying to stabilize the innings.

Bangladesh made one change to their playing XI, bringing back Mehidy Hasan Miraz in place of Afif Hossain. Meanwhile, the West Indies fielded an unchanged lineup.

Bangladesh Playing XI:

Tanzid Hasan, Soumya Sarkar, Litton Das (Captain & Wicketkeeper), Zakir Ali, Mehidy Hasan, Shamim Hossain, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Rishad Hossain, Tanzim Hasan, Taskin Ahmed, Hasan Mahmud.

West Indies Playing XI:
