Sylhet, Jan 13 (V7N) - Chittagong Kings registered a commanding 30-run victory against Sylhet Strikers in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. England’s Graham Clark and Pakistan’s Usman Khan were the standouts, scoring 60 off 33 and 53 off 35, respectively. Their 68-run partnership set the stage for a hefty 203-6, with Haider Ali contributing a blistering unbeaten 42 off just 18 balls.

Sylhet Strikers struggled in the chase, finishing at 173-8 despite a fighting 53 off 37 from George Munsey and a quickfire 47 not out off 23 by Jaker Ali Anik. The middle order failed to build partnerships, and the rising required run rate proved too much to overcome. Munsey’s dismissal by Khaled Ahmed after reaching his half-century left the side in a precarious position.

Chittagong’s bowlers delivered an exceptional performance, led by Mohammad Wasim, who took 3-25, including the crucial wickets of Rony Talukdar and Aaron Jones. Aliss Al Islam also played a vital role by dismissing Zakir Hasan, who scored 25 off 19. Chittagong's disciplined bowling ensured Sylhet could not recover despite Jaker Ali’s late power-hitting.

With this win, Chittagong Kings secured their third victory in the tournament, while Sylhet Strikers suffered their fourth defeat in six matches, leaving their campaign in a tough spot.
