Kylian Mbappe is back in France's starting line-up for Tuesday's Euro 2024 match against Poland, making his first appearance since breaking his nose against Austria just over a week ago.

Mbappe sustained the injury late in the June 17 victory over Austria and missed the 0-0 draw with the Netherlands in Leipzig last Friday. Now wearing a protective face mask, the new Real Madrid signing will captain a French side that has already secured a spot in the last 16 ahead of their Group D finale in Dortmund.

Mbappe's return is one of two changes made by coach Didier Deschamps, with Paris Saint-Germain's Bradley Barcola earning his first international start. Antoine Griezmann and Marcus Thuram drop out of the starting eleven.

France's position in the group will be determined by their result against Poland and the outcome of the Netherlands vs. Austria match happening simultaneously.

Despite Poland's elimination, their captain and record goal-scorer Robert Lewandowski makes his first start of the tournament following his recovery from injury.
