JERUSALEM, Jan 3, (V7N) – Sirens blared in central and southern Israel on Friday following a missile launch from Yemen that entered Israeli airspace, according to the Israeli military.

"One missile was identified crossing from Yemen into Israeli territory. Interceptors were launched toward the target, and the details are under review," the military stated on its official Telegram channel.

No immediate reports of damage or casualties have been made public. Authorities are investigating the incident, and additional information is expected to follow.
