Alexandria, VA, Mar 24 (V7N) – Former U.S. Attorney Jessica Aber was found dead at her home in Alexandria, Virginia, on Saturday morning. Authorities responded to a call at 9:18 a.m. for an unresponsive woman at her residence, and upon arrival, they confirmed the death. Aber, 43, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Alexandria Police Department stated that it is investigating the death "as a matter of protocol" and that the cause of death will be determined by the Chief Medical Examiner of Virginia. At this time, no further details have been released regarding the circumstances surrounding her death.
