"Yemen's Houthi government has ordered U.S. and U.K. human rights advocates to leave within a month. Foreign organizations are advised against hiring Americans or Britons for any Yemen-related work or planning."
The Houthi rebels and their allies assembled in Yemen's capital, Sana'a, on Thursday January 25, demonstrating their unwavering resolve and readiness to confront any prospective Western attacks. Al Jazeera reported that about 5,000 Houthis took part in a military parade while waving different signs and firearms.
The gathering in Sana'a served as both a protest against perceived Western aggression and a demonstration of solidarity with the Palestinians. The Houthi group declared their preparedness for a comprehensive confrontation against Israel and the West, asserting their ability to withstand any form of attack with resolute strength.
A representative of the Houthi insurgents proclaimed, "We are fully prepared to confront the adversary across all domains—terra firma, maritime, and aerial space. Irrespective of the intensity of the adversary's attack, we will bravely confront it with resoluteness. The militant faction supported by Iran pledged to persevere in their conflict until the perceived adversary is annihilated from existence.
Another Houthi member issued a stern warning to the West and the Jewish community, asserting that neither Yemen nor Palestine would be occupied. The threat continued with a chilling message: "They will be drowned in the waters of the Red Sea. Graves have been dug in Yemeni territory for the invaders. Welcome them to that grave."
Human rights advocates from the United States and the United Kingdom were simultaneously ordered to leave Yemen within the next month by the Houthi-controlled government. Additionally, US and UK nationals should not be employed by foreign organizations for any planning or work related to Yemen.
The United States and the United Kingdom have launched heavy attacks on Houthi installations in response to the rebels' ship raids in the Red Sea, which has escalated the conflict in Yemen. The Houthi group has demonstrated its resolve to defend its sovereignty, and the US has demonstrated its missile power by launching strikes against cargo ships and warships. Yemen is still experiencing unstable and tense conditions.
