Dhaka, Dec 04 (V7N) — Amidst current challenges, Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus has called for greater unity, urging everyone to come together more strongly than ever before. He made the appeal at the closing ceremony of the National Defense Course (NDC) 2024 and Armed Forces War Course 2024, held at the Defense Services Command and Staff College Complex on Wednesday.

The Chief Adviser congratulated all participants on successfully completing the courses and expressed his satisfaction with the high-quality curriculum of the NDC. He highlighted how the program incorporates crucial topics related to state affairs, contributing significantly to ensuring national security.

This year, the National Defense Course had 95 participants, including 46 from the Bangladesh Armed Forces, 16 from the Civil Administration, and 33 representatives from 18 friendly countries. Meanwhile, 55 members of the Bangladesh Army, Navy, and Air Force completed the Armed Forces War Course 2024.

In his speech, Muhammad Yunus emphasised the importance of such programs in strengthening both civil and military leadership and fostering international cooperation.

The ceremony concluded with acknowledgments of the dedication and achievements of the participants, reaffirming the country’s commitment to bolstering national and regional security.
