Speaking as the chief guest at a relief distribution event for cyclone victims at the government Mujahar Uddin Bishwas Degree College ground in Kolapara, Patuakhali on Thursday afternoon, she said.
The Prime Minister further said, you have been given the opportunity to serve by voting by boat, development is taking place in the country under the Awami League government's leadership. Arrangements will be made for fertilizers and seeds for farmers affected by floods so that they can start afresh.
The Prime Minister said that books have been provided to students free of cost. Entrepreneurship should be encouraged without wasting time behind jobs. Referring to the improvement of communication, the Prime Minister said that after the Padma Bridge is completed, you can come to Kolapara from Dhaka in five hours and from Barishal in two hours. Mentioning the establishment of Payra Port and thermal power plant, she said arrangements have been made for employment for the people of the area.

Earlier, at 12:20 pm, the Prime Minister landed at the helipad ground adjacent to Kolapara Model Government High School and participated in a relief distribution event at the Majhar Uddin Biswas Degree College ground. At that time, she spoke for about 10 minutes for the sake of the people.
