Once more, gunshots from Myanmar struck Bangladesh's border. The sound of gunfire and mortar rounds is once more audible in upazila Teknaf, bordering Cox's Bazar.
Four shots from Myanmar struck a house and a store in Bangladesh. The villagers are now terrified as a result. At Teknaf's Hoikong border point, there has been a tremendous noise since early on Saturday morning (February 10).
Sirajul Mustafa Lalu, UP member of Ward No. 2 Hoikong said, We live near the border. Always have to live in fear. The people of the area are not able to go to work near the border due to the sound of gunfire. Children are also afraid to send to school. Heavy shelling started in Myanmar at Hoikong Point from early Saturday morning.
