Dhaka, Dec 01 (V7N) — Cyclone 'Finjal,' currently located in the southwest Bay of Bengal at 12.2 degrees north latitude and 80.4 degrees east longitude, continues to move west-northwest. According to the Meteorological Department, the cyclone is expected to cross the North Tamil Nadu coast by Sunday evening or night. Its influence extends into the northern Bay of Bengal, potentially affecting weather conditions in Bangladesh.

Light rain is likely in Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, and Chittagong divisions. Elsewhere, the weather is expected to remain dry with partly cloudy skies.

2. Monday's Weather:

From 9 am Monday, the country will experience mainly dry weather with partly cloudy skies. Night temperatures are expected to decrease by 1–2°C, while daytime temperatures will remain steady.

3. Tuesday's Weather:

Dry conditions will persist with partly cloudy skies. Night temperatures may remain stable, while daytime temperatures could drop slightly. Light to moderate fog is likely in some regions during late night and early morning hours.

4. Extended Outlook:

Over the next five days, both night and day temperatures are expected to gradually decrease across the country, indicating a transition to cooler weather.
