Dhaka, Mar 03 (V7N)- The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has issued a 72-hour weather forecast starting from Monday (March 3), indicating that the weather across the country will remain mainly dry with temporarily partly cloudy skies.

According to the forecast, a western low-pressure system is currently positioned over West Bengal and its surrounding areas, while the normal seasonal low pressure is situated in the South Bay of Bengal. These weather systems will influence the country's atmospheric conditions over the next few days.

On Monday, the weather is expected to remain dry across the country, with partly cloudy skies in some regions. No significant rainfall has been predicted for any part of the country.

By Tuesday, a slight drop in both day and night temperatures is expected. However, the overall weather pattern will remain unchanged, with dry conditions prevailing.

On Wednesday, the forecast suggests that temperatures will remain almost the same, and the country will continue to experience dry weather with occasional cloud cover.

Looking ahead to the next five days, the BMD predicts that day and night temperatures may gradually increase across the country. People are advised to stay prepared for possible temperature fluctuations as the weather transitions into the warmer months.
