Tangail, Dec 26, (V7N) – Christian followers residing in Madhupur, Tangail, celebrated Christmas this year with great enthusiasm and excitement, as they do every year, through various events on the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ. The festivities included light decorations, prayers, rituals, and cake-cutting, among other activities.
On the night of Tuesday, December 24, at 10 PM, a cake-cutting ceremony was held at the central missionary of the Catholic Christians in the 25 Mile area of Arankhola Union, Madhupur. Christians from various ethnic backgrounds, along with devotees and followers, gathered to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
Father Subash Costa CSC, the head priest of the Jalchatra Missionary Parish, and Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Madhupur Police Station, Imranul Kabir, cut the Christmas cake to mark the occasion. The missionary courtyard was filled to capacity with the arrival of all the Christian followers from the area.

He also expressed gratitude to the local administration and everyone who contributed to the celebration of the Christmas event.
