MONGLA, Mar 22 (V7N) – In a gesture of appreciation, Mohammad Moniruzzaman, Assistant Attorney General and distinguished son of Mongla, organized an Iftar and prayer gathering for local journalists. The event, held on Friday at the Press Club hall, saw active participation from the local media community. Moniruzzaman highlighted the crucial role of journalists in shaping society and expressed gratitude for their contributions, while seeking prayers for his success in his new role.
 
In his speech as the chief guest, Moniruzzaman stated, "Journalists are the conscience of the nation." He emphasized that they play an essential role in shaping the state and society. Reflecting on his career, he mentioned his long tenure as a Supreme Court lawyer before being appointed Assistant Attorney General through a government decree. He expressed his commitment to fulfilling his duties with utmost responsibility and requested everyone’s prayers for his success in this new role.
