Jhalakathi, Mar 25 (V7N)– Md. Golam Azam Saikat, a former central leader of Bangladesh Nationalist Chhatra Dal and BNP nomination candidate for Jhalakathi-1 (Rajapur-Kathalia) constituency, has extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to residents and BNP members in the region.

"On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliated organizations from all walks of life and the residents of Jhalokati-1 (Rajapur-Kathalia) Upazila extended their greetings," a local representative confirmed.

In his message, Saikat emphasized the spirit of unity and shared joy that Eid brings, urging people to embrace the teachings of Ramadan and foster peace and prosperity.

"Using the teachings of Ramadan, everyone should forget their differences and share the joy of this Eid. This festival should be spread among everyone, regardless of religion. May the stream of peace, prosperity and joy flow in every house of Bangladesh," Saikat stated.

He also offered prayers for the well-being of the nation and the BNP community.

"Along with this, former student leader Md. Golam Azam Saikat prayed for the blessings of Almighty Allah for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the country and the nation, including the residents of Jhalakati-1 (Rajapur-Kathalia) Upazila and all the leaders and activists of the BNP family," a campaign spokesperson said.
