Khulna, Sep 11 (V7N) – Kadrul Hasan, a key figure in Khulna's anti-discrimination student movement, was found unconscious after a six-day disappearance.

He was discovered early Wednesday morning, around 4 am, in front of Sultania Ahmed Jame Masjid on Darogar Lane. Local worshipers informed the authorities, and police quickly rescued him, admitting him to Khulna Medical College Hospital (Khumek) for treatment.

Saltachara Police OC Palash Kumar Das confirmed the rescue but said it is still unclear where Kadrul had been during his disappearance. The police hope to gather more information once he is able to speak.

Kadrul had been missing since the evening of September 5 after distributing relief for flood victims in the Mylapota area of Khulna. His wife filed a general diary (GD) with the police on September 6.

He is a student at Government Haji Mohammad Mohsin College and worked part-time at Popular Diagnostic Center in Sheikhpara.
