The Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP has announced a program demanding the cancellation of the January 7 elections, rising commodity prices and the release of detained leaders and activists. Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, senior joint secretary general of the party, announced this program in an emergency press conference at the central office of BNP on Sunday (February 11) afternoon.

According to the announced program of the party, BNP will distribute leaflets and mass communication in all cities including Dhaka on February 13 and 14. And in memory of the Bangladeshis who died on the border, it has been announced to hold a prayer ceremony in all the mosques of the country on February 16 (Friday).

Besides, the party will hold mass communication and leaflet distribution program in all district cities on February 17 and all upazilas, police stations, municipalities and unions on February 18 and 19.

Ruhul Kabir Rizvi called upon all party leaders and workers to participate spontaneously in the newly announced program. He said, they will return home after receiving the demand.
