Dhaka, Sep 02 (V7N) – BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Tuesday (September 2) visited Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) to inquire about the health condition of Ganodhikar Parishad President Nurul Haque Nur, who is currently under treatment after sustaining injuries during recent clashes. Fakhrul reached the hospital around 12:15 pm and spoke with doctors regarding Nur’s physical and medical condition.

Nur, whose health has improved, was recently transferred from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to a cabin.

On Friday night (August 29), leaders and activists of the Jatiya Party clashed with those of the Ganodhikar Parishad in Bijoynagar, Dhaka. Law enforcement intervened with a lathicharge to disperse the groups, leaving Nurul Haque Nur, General Secretary Muhammad Rashed Khan, and several others injured.

Later in the day, the BNP Secretary General also visited Jatiya Ganotantrik Party (JAGPA) President Khandaker Lutfar Rahman, who is receiving treatment at Islami Bank Hospital following an attack by miscreants on Monday night (September 1). The JAGPA chief was admitted immediately after the assault.
