Dhaka, Sep 29 (V7N) – BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has said that the sudden unrest in the hill districts is not an isolated incident but part of a “master plan.”

Speaking to journalists at the BNP central office in Nayapaltan on Monday afternoon, Rizvi expressed concern that the situation in the Chittagong Hill Tracts was deliberately being fueled to create instability.

He alleged that Jamaat has ulterior motives behind declaring war with India, suggesting that the move is politically motivated. Rizvi further claimed that Shibir activists have been placed in key positions at all important levels of the government, which he said is deepening the crisis.

The senior BNP leader called on the authorities to take the issue seriously and address the root causes of the unrest.
