Dhaka, Dec 11 (V7N) — BNP Standing Committee Member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury has said that the people will determine the future of an inclusive Bangladesh through the upcoming national election.

He made the remarks on Thursday after paying homage at the tomb of former President Ziaur Rahman on the occasion of the founding anniversary of the Nationalist Farmers' Party.

Amir Khasru said the BNP was founded on democratic values and asserted that, under the leadership of Tarique Rahman, the party aims to build a Bangladesh that reflects the aspirations of its people. “The ownership of the country must be returned to the people,” he said.

He added that BNP envisions a future Bangladesh that is inclusive for citizens of all religions and castes, ensuring equal rights and participation for all.
