Dhaka, May 23 (V7N) – Prime Minister Tarique Rahman visited an exhibition of electric vehicles (EVs) held at his office in Tejgaon, Dhaka on Saturday (May 23) morning.

The exhibition, which began around 10:00 am, featured a range of modern electric-powered vehicles including private cars, motorcycles, and covered vans. During the visit, the Prime Minister inspected several models and also tested drive demonstrations within the office premises. He held discussions with entrepreneurs involved in the electric vehicle sector, focusing on future expansion and innovation.

After the event, he departed for Trishal in Mymensingh as part of his scheduled tour. There, he is expected to inspect a dredging project and take part in the 127th birth anniversary celebrations of national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.

According to the itinerary, the Prime Minister is also scheduled to attend a meeting organized by the local Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) leaders in the afternoon.

Security has been tightened in the areas surrounding the Prime Minister’s travel route ahead of the visit.
