Dhaka, May 25 (V7N)- Asian Development Bank (ADB) President Masato Kanda paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at the Prime Minister’s Office in Tejgaon, Dhaka on Monday (May 25) morning.
A delegation led by Masato Kanda met the Prime Minister to discuss ongoing and future development cooperation between Bangladesh and the ADB.
Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury and Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister ABM Abdus Sattar were also present during the meeting.
According to the Finance Minister, discussions focused on Bangladesh’s key development sectors, including health, education, and energy, which continue to receive regular support from the ADB.
He also said that both sides exchanged views on strengthening partnership-based development cooperation and advancing ongoing projects in various sectors of the country.
Officials described the meeting as constructive, with emphasis placed on continued collaboration between Bangladesh and the Asian Development Bank to support national development priorities.
